Sol Davis

Solomon Davis Jr. is a native of Tampa, FL and a graduate of Chamberlain High School. He began his collegiate career in Atlanta, Georgia at Morehouse College. While in college his father decided that the time was right to move forward with what many would call “The American Dream”, becoming an entrepreneur and building a legacy for those to come. Sol joined his father and on May 1, 1999 Sol Davis Printing was born.

In its 19 years of existence here in Tampa, Sol Davis Printing has become one of the pillars of the African American community, servicing clients both locally and abroad. The concept was solely built on family pride and tradition with the purpose of providing a quality product at a reasonable price in a timely fashion. Along the way, many people from a vast array of backgrounds have contributed to the success of Sol Davis Printing as employees, customers, or supporters whose word of mouth comments helped to market the company business and opened the doors for future growth. Currently, Sol Davis Printing service has clients that include Moffitt Cancer Center, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the City of Tampa, Hillsborough County, and many other organizations while still managing to provide walk-in clientele with quality service deemed to be “second to none!”

Realizing that success means nothing unless you bring someone else along with you, Sol works diligently every day, alongside his lovely wife Shannon, to instill the same work ethic and values that were given to him by his parents and their two daughters; Jadyn and Royal.
